Job Title: CT/MRI Technologist (Permanent)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CT/MRI Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across multiple modalities. This role focuses on ensuring patient safety accurate imaging and adherence to clinical protocols while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Perform CT and MRI procedures according to established protocols
- Conduct advanced imaging procedures including X-ray Fluoroscopy C-arm and OR imaging
- Adhere to ALARA radiation safety standards
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records including procedural documentation and charges
Patient Care & Safety
- Educate patients on procedures equipment and expectations
- Verify patient identity using two identifiers and obtain informed consent
- Ensure patient safety comfort and confidentiality at all times
Technical & Equipment
- Operate imaging equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- Participate in cross-training for additional modalities (DEXA Mammography)
- Assist with clerical tasks scheduling and patient transport as needed
Team Collaboration
- Assist in training and supporting imaging staff
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling including call overtime and holidays
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining team collaboration
Organizational Expectations
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication with patients staff and vendors
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Follow all infection control safety and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass background check drug screening and health requirements
Education & Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT Certifications required:
- Radiology (R)
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- BLS Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and MRI imaging
- Experience with PACS RIS/HIS and EMR systems
- Cross-training in additional modalities (DEXA Mammography)
