Lead Deck Position

Pay: $25 DOE

Schedule: Monday Friday 7 am 4 pm

Location: Silverton OR

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for a Lead Deck position for a local landscaping and fencing company. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various deck and landscaping tasks and possess leadership qualities and coordinate projects effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain outdoor structures as required
- Ensure high-quality standards are met in all landscaping tasks
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences
- Train new team members on landscaping techniques and safety protocols
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage

- Supervise in the installation of hardscape features including patios walkways and fences
- Supervise carpentry tasks such as framing and building structures
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:
- Experience in landscape maintenance and construction is preferred
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and ability to use hand tools effectively
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
- Familiarity with hard-scape installation techniques is a plus
