Job Summary

Intermediate Help Desk Technician

FedTec is looking for an Intermediate Help Desk Technician/System Administrator support . This role provides hands-on technical support across infrastructure systems and end-user environments ensuring seamless IT service delivery.

Location: Ft. Belvoir Virginia(Onsite)

Required Certifications: CompTIA SecurityCE

Clearance : Minimum of Active Secret

Primary Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and providing technical support for Desktop computers printers and associate electronic devices
  • Provide problem resolution and consultation services for local and remote users
  • Document and report all trouble tickets utilizing Computer Associates (CA) Help Desk software
  • Receive delegate manage respond to and resolve user service requests
  • Create/manage workstation accounts in Active Directory
  • Install/Configure software as required
  • Image and configure new and existing workstations as required
  • Support Life-Cycle Management - IOM workstations at multiple locations

Basic Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 IT Support Services troubleshooting both hardware and software issues in mixed environments that include workstations & laptops (SIPR NIPR) servers mobile devices perpherals and A/V equipment.
  • Extensive working knowledge of: Active Directory Operating System (OS) delivery methods (SCCM etc.) Defense Enterprise Provisioning Online (DEPO) Tiered Help Desk Approach Work ticket tracking solutions (CA ticketing system and/or Remedy)
