About the Role
Join a high-impact team as a Senior Business Analyst driving enterprise-level digital transformation and business process reengineering. Leverage your deep expertise in business architecture and the MITA framework to design optimize and implement business processes that significantly improve efficiency effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Work closely with senior leadership IT operations and product teams in a dynamic collaborative environment where your strategic insight shapes the organizations future.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives identifying innovation opportunities and designing future-state business capabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive business process reengineering: analyze redesign and optimize complex business processes to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance service quality.
- Develop and maintain current and future state business architecture artifacts (BPMN data models value streams capability models).
- Elicit analyze and validate complex business requirements translating them into actionable specifications for solution development.
- Serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring seamless communication and alignment of business and IT objectives.
- Facilitate change management and stakeholder engagement to support successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8 years progressive experience as a Business Data Analyst or equivalent strategic role with a focus on enterprise-level initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture) including practical application in complex system environments.
- Extensive experience leading or contributing to large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects.
- Advanced proficiency in business modeling tools and methodologies: BPMN UML ArchiMate.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving and business modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication presentation negotiation facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration IT Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred).
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical groups.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in government or public sector environments (Texas HHS preferred).
- Relevant certifications: CBAP TOGAF BPMN Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Direct hands-on experience with Texas Health and Human Services integrated eligibility systems (e.g. Medicaid SNAP TANF CHIP).
