Job Summary
Job Title: Breakfast Attendant/Public Area Attendant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Breakfast Attendant/Public Area Attendant to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for our guests during breakfast and throughout public areas of the hotel.
Responsibilities:
Breakfast Area Duties:
Set up and maintain the breakfast area ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Prepare and replenish food and beverages in the breakfast area as needed.
Assist guests with breakfast selections and provide excellent customer service.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of dining areas wiping tables and disposing of trash.
Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Restock breakfast items condiments napkins and silverware as required.
Clean and sanitize breakfast equipment utensils and serving areas.
Public Area Duties:
Clean and maintain public spaces such as the lobby hallways restrooms and stairwells ensuring they are presentable and safe.
Monitor and report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate department.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting guests with directions or requests.
Ensure that all public areas are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g. tissue hand sanitizers soap).
Assist with special guest requests or needs throughout public spaces.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup and breakdown of meeting or event spaces if required.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures to maintain safety and security.
Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service hospitality or cleaning preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to stand walk and lift items for extended periods.
Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings weekends and holidays.
Wage and Job Details:
Wage: $16.50/hr
Paid bi-weekly.
Flexible shifts: M-Sun typically between 6:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Hours may vary.
On-the-job training provided.
Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on performance and tenure.
