Job Summary

| Attend and successfully complete all required courses at the Basic Law Enforcement Academy. | 20% |
| Participate in physical training sessions designed to enhance fitness agility and overall preparedness for law enforcement duties. | 20% |
| Develop a comprehensive understanding of police procedures laws and regulations. | 20% |
| Engage in practical exercises and simulations to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of law enforcement. | 20% |
| Complete written exams practical assessments and physical fitness tests todemonstrateproficiencyand readiness for field duties. | 20% |
| Performs other duties as assigned. |
Probation:One (1) year
Qualifications
Open Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.MinimumAge 21 years. (Individuals will be considered who have notreached 21 years of age but will by the time of swearing in as a law enforcement officer).Applicant must be a United States and overall physical condition must be suitable for law enforcementworkand candidates must pass the departmentsbackground investigation.Ability to meet physical fitness requirements.Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.Commitment to serving the school district community and upholding the law.

Licensing/Certification/Registration:Avalid Florida Drivers License isrequiredprior to appointment and must bemaintainedduring employment in this class.
