Shift Details
- Night Shift (Block Schedule): 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Compensation
- Weekly Pay Range: $2000 $2400 (Based on experience)
Job Summary
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory care performing diagnostic procedures and supporting clinical decision-making for patients requiring respiratory therapy.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide respiratory care treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform patient assessments and recommend appropriate therapies
- Administer inhaled medications and medical gases
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment including:
- Ventilators
- Oxygen delivery systems
- Vapotherm devices
- PAP devices
Diagnostics & Procedures
- Perform arterial capillary and venous blood draws
- Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
- Perform EKGs as ordered
Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately document patient assessments treatments and care plans
- Ensure physician orders are correctly entered in the EMR system
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Record procedures medications and equipment usage
Collaboration & Support
- Act as a clinical resource for respiratory care
- Assist with treatment planning and clinical decision-making
- Review patient charts and medical history prior to treatment
- Work independently during night shifts
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform night shiftspecific duties as assigned
- Ensure accurate documentation of critical values and procedures
- Adhere to all organizational policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Active state license (required at submission)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
