Job Summary
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Carbondale Illinois
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Details
- Monday Friday: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
Compensation
- Weekly Pay Range: $2200 $2700 (Based on experience)
Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures ensuring high-quality imaging results and supporting efficient departmental operations while maintaining patient safety and care standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Follow imaging protocols in collaboration with radiologists
- Maintain IV access and administer contrast as required
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Technical & Systems
- Accurately utilize PACS for image storage and retrieval
- Document procedures within EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Maintain accurate and timely imaging records
Department Support
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
- Review daily imaging schedules with radiology team
- Support workflow efficiency within the department
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Certifications
- ARRT Certification (Radiography/CT or MRI)
- State licensure (as applicable)
- CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- AMT or ASCP certification
- Experience with EPIC and Safe Trace systems
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT/imaging experience preferred

- Strong technical imaging knowledge
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage workflow efficiently
