Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to support front-end healthcare operations. This role is responsible for scheduling patient appointments verifying insurance eligibility and ensuring compliance with medical necessity requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong call center experience and the ability to manage high-volume patient interactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify patient insurance eligibility benefits and coverage details
- Ensure compliance with medical necessity and organizational guidelines
- Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment
- Post payments and assist with billing-related processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow all organizational policies procedures and compliance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
- Prior call center experience required
- Strong experience with healthcare scheduling required
