TCS seek an EUC Engineer to support key clients Letterkenny Ireland office to help with level 2 help desk support work.
Your responsibilities:
- Resolving moderate technical issues from incoming incidents. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action escalates as necessary.
- Leverage the ServiceNow ticketing system to manage IT support requests and incidents and generate dashboard reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide easily consumable services to software development teams to assist in the consumption of infrastructure solutions and partner to implement them.
- Use Service Now to document and track status of client inquiries coordinates appropriate response and follows up to ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify diagnose and troubleshoot workplace issues using Nexthink monitoring software to provide real-time visibility into the end-user computing environment.
- Hot hands support for networking tasks such as installing equipment into a rack and cable based on supplied cable matrix; rebooting equipment when requested; interfacing with vendors such as Cisco and telco carriers to complete installation and troubleshooting; coordinate with local and corporate team to diagnose and resolve complex problems.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.
- Proficient in Microsoft platforms (Windows 365 Office 365 Azure Intune etc.).
- Experienced using diagnostic tools and ticketing applications.
- Proficiency with Computer Software and Hardware; Ability to troubleshoot the client problems by asking
- Ability to handle specific questions implementing solutions and testing the outcomes to rule out common errors.
- Knowledgeable in Nexthink and other end-point analytic tools.
- Ability to use remote access tools to interact with clients computer sort through files and install/update software drivers to resolve issues.
- Skilled in identifying the symptoms of different problems and directing the clients to the proper feasible solution.
- B2 or higher fluency in English.
- Financial/Insurance industry experience is a plus.
