Role Overview
The Business Development Executive (BDE) drives growth for both the Single Board Computer (SBC) portfolio and the Private Label brand Multicomp Pro by acquiring new customers deepening relationships with existing accounts and ensuring business projects align with commercial expectations. The role blends sales development product advocacy customer engagement and crossfunctional project management.
Job Summary:
Identifies opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy. Develops and maintains the business relationship by providing solutions for defined account(s) in a product line to achieve the identified strategy and business financial objectives.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for brand product technology solutions and/or offerings for assigned customers.
- Responsible for the execution of the strategic customer growth plans and business relationships in assigned account(s) by providing value added solutions.
- Identifies and creates opportunity demand for products coordinating the supporting seminars training and resource awareness to assigned customers and that drives growth plan success in the targeted accounts.
- Performs analysis and reports results of various program impact for identified customer(s) notifying the account manager of success issues and future growth plan strategies.
- Maintains and drives trending knowledge of products competitors technology and customers in the assigned supplier product market.
- Identifies and maintains field supplier relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Developing expertise of business financials products/services the market or account needs. Expanded knowledge of the industry markets and sales processes; broadens sales capabilities. Further develops an understanding of the range of products/ services that the organization and its competitors sell and that assigned customers purchase.
- Works with moderately complex territory/ assigned accounts products/services sales or account management processes. May refer to policies practices and precedents for guidance; determines best course of action to achieve results. Solves sales problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using sales experience judgment and precedent.
- Works independently within an assigned territory/account base with moderate sized accounts/opportunities. Has flexibility to set and negotiate terms within defined parameters; is beginning to plan own territory or account approach.
- Collaborates with internal team managers and support functions. Has direct contact with clients.
- Impacts own sales quota and that of others; works within a defined territory or account list and to guidelines and policies.
Work Experience:
- Minimum experience required is typically 3 years with bachelors or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Customer Acquisition (SBC & Multicomp Pro)
- Identify qualify and convert new business opportunities across OEM ODM EMS industrial education design houses and ecommerce resellers.
- Promote key SBC lines (Raspberry Pi Compute Modules Micro:bit embedded accessories) and Private Label / Multicomp Pro ranges (test equipment interconnect MRO passive components tools etc.).
- Leverage crossreference and costsavings opportunities to propose Multicomp Pro alternatives to branded parts to help customers reduce spend.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline recording all activity and progress updates in CRM.
2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM & Retention)
- Develop strong long-term relationships with key SBC accounts and Private Label customers.
- Support customers with product education sourcing options PL alternatives and technical informationleveraging updated PL data sheets EOL information and compliance resources.
- Coordinate internally with Sales Marketing Product Management Pricing Asset Supply Chain and Compliance teams to resolve issues and deliver a highquality customer experience.
3. Private Label (Multicomp Pro) Brand Advocacy
- Champion Multicomp Pros value propositionhigh-quality costeffective alternatives with large SKU coverage (80k products) and strong margin contribution.
- Educate customers on the advantages of PL: cost savings reliability availability broad selection replacement options etc.
- Support channel development with resellers/brokers and help drive PL penetration in online offline and eprocurement channels.
- Work with local partners to ensure proper representation of Multicomp Pro including landing pages digital marketing and EDM campaigns.
4. SBC Business Development (Technical & Commercial)
- Promote SBC products to existing and new segments using insights from product roadmaps and market trends.
- Collaborate with SBC product managers on NPI (new product introduction) forecast planning pricing and customer onboarding.
- Provide feedback on customer requirements and usage trends.
5. Project Management (Business Expectations)
- Manage sales projects onboarding cycles product evaluations and promotional initiatives for both SBC and Multicomp Pro.
- Track project KPIs deadlines and stakeholders to ensure commercial goals are met.
- Consolidate and update product information (datasheets compliance info EOL notices) to support account activity.
- Prepare business reviews for management identifying risks gaps and opportunities for both portfolios.
6. Market Product & Competitor Intelligence
- Monitor industry movements technology trends competitive activity and pricing shifts in SBC and PL categories.
- Provide insights to product management and senior stakeholders to guide portfolio strategy.
- Participate in customer trainings workshops and PL or SBC sales enablement sessions to stay updated.
