| Job Description | Interoperability Solution Architect with FHIR and GCP Experience Remote contract Requisition Job Description - The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for designing building and maintaining efficient and scalable Application architecture within an organization. This role collaborates with various stakeholders to understand technical requirements create robust solutions and ensure the integrity security and performance of the application infrastructure. The Lead Architect is crucial for organizations aiming to leverage emerging technologies and advise senior leadership around the strategic technical vision for the domain.
Accountabilities include: - Define and execute architectural strategies aligned with project objectives.
- Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas.
- Develop architectural designs and solutions ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders including business analysts data engineers IT teams and management to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams (Collaboration and Communication).
- Assess new technologies tools and methodologies to enhance application processes and recommend their adoption where applicable (Technology Evaluation and Implementation).
- Play a key leadership role in architecture design reviews identify gaps and recommend design changes. Actively lead and participate in the Architecture community to drive modernization opportunities for the Healthcare Business Unit.
Required Qualifications - 10 years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead solution architect enterprise architect).
- Strong experience in interoperability FHIR HL7 standards.
- 5 years in cloud platforms (GCP) microservices and API design.
- Strong experience in understanding non-functional requirements (SLA response time real time near real time multi-threading) and ability to create designs that meet the non-functional requirements.
- 5 years of full stack development experience.
- 5 years of SQL NoSQL MongoDB Redis and any relevant database experience.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes Jenkins Docker Git) and Kafka.
- Experience in Java Python Spring Boot and front-end frameworks (Angular/JavaScript).
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies especially Generative AI and LLMs.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Interoperability enterprise solutions is a plus.
- Experience/certification in one or more cloud platform (Salesforce GCP Azure & AWS) is preferred.
- Experience in large scale migration efforts from legacy technology/Asset to a modern/new Asset is preferred.
Education - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science information systems or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science information systems or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
