As a Project Engineer you will develop innovative solutions and new approaches to engineering problems to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to fabricate and assemble products that meet the organisations standards of quality and cost.
What you will do:
- Work with engineering service providers contractors and vendors.
- Ensure regulatory and company compliance with all applicable standards procedures and best working practices.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to the plant.
- Work with the production and other plant teams to improve safety product quality and production efficiencies.
- Develop evaluate and seek approval for process modifications and optimization programs to improve the efficiency and capability of plant processes.
- Assist Operations and Maintenance with troubleshooting of processing equipment and increase process reliability using root cause analysis. Required to be on-call 24/7 availability for travelling to different Ingredion Facilities in Mexico.
What you will bring:
- Degree chemical electrical or electromechanical engineering discipline.
- Desirable 1 year engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of engineering and unit operations such as basic chemistry heat and material balances mechanical and physical/chemical separations and energy management.
- At least one year of related work experience in food industry or similar manufacturing business preferred.
- Microsoft suite (Excel Word Access Teams Project Outlook CAD) and Windows 10 proficiency
- Multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Safety Environmental and GMP standards
