LOCATION OF POSITION: Springfield Ball Charter School 2530 East Ash Street Springfield IL 62703
START DATE: July 13 2026 HOURS PER DAY: 8

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Principal Endorsement (recommended) (ELIS page print out submitted with application)
- Masters degree in Educational Administration (preferred)
- Minimum of four years of successful teaching experience at the elementary and/or middle school level and/or at least two years of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of both
- Danielson Teacher Evaluation (recommended)
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional best practices school improvement strategies change management student assessment systems technology integration in the curriculum and effective public relations and community engagement
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to communicate well and to apply leadership skills within a shared decision-making model
- Ability and willingness to follow directions given and to perform assigned duties in accordance with applicable guidelines policies and procedures.
- Implement school-wide discipline program track and report disciplinary outcomes
- Sound educational philosophy and instructional competence.
- Participate and/or present in professional development activities.
- Participate and/or present in school improvement activities.
- Experience with a diverse student population.
- Daily supervision of students including lunchroom supervision.
- Implementation of student assessment instruments (ie. MAP IAR etc.)
- Assist with supervising and evaluating personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
