Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Neurologist at Nellis AFB inNevada.
Details:
- Full-time position
- Monday - Friday 0730 - 1630
- On-call required
- Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries
- Outpatient environment with consultation for inpatient services and stroke coverage when on-call
Requirements:
- Successful complete of ACGME approved Neurology Medical Residency
- Minimum of 2 years of neurologic clinical experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Board certification in adult Neurology
- Unrestricted Medical License in Nevada
Responsibilities:
- Examine diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
- Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
- Capable of performing lumbar punctures interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
- Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
- Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
