Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe effective and patient-centered care while adhering to clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and state regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Develop and implement individualized care plans including patient and family education
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate safety concerns using critical thinking
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
- Support peer review processes and contribute to unit-based decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Education verification required
- Flu vaccination required
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or TNS (Trauma Nursing Skills)
Experience
- Less than 1 year of experience accepted (preferred but not required)
