Job Summary

The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Senior Engineer is responsible for the strategic design implementation and oversight of the organizations Privileged Access Management infrastructure to enhance the security posture of the enterprise. The PAM Senior Engineer will be responsible for configuring and managing PAM solutions ensuring secured and controlled access to privileged accounts and systems. They will demonstrate high self-motivation and excellent communication documentation and relationship building skills.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for PAM-related inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain integration of PAM solutions into existing systems and applications ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption.
  • Work with Senior leaders in IT security and business units to incorporate PAM solutions into wider security and IT strategies.
  • Improvements for maintaining robust security measures.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to PAM policies procedures and configurations.
  • Configure and administer privileged access management solutions including password vaults session recording multi-factor authentication and least privilege technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for PAM implementations.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to IT teams and end-users troubleshoot and resolve PAM-related issues including during non-core working hours in support of global teams. (L3/4 support)
  • Manage changes according to change management policies and processes for supported systems.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on BeyondTrust tools and best practices for managing privileged access.
  • Function as a liaison between operations compliance provisioning and architectural teams ensuring the alignment of IT operational standards and implementation of standards to Operations leadership.
  • Stay up to date with emerging PAM trends tools and technologies making recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations.
  • Investigate and resolve PAM-related incidents such as password policy violations access control issues and system vulnerabilities.

Position Requirements

  • Experience managing PAM solutions BeyondTrust (preferred) CyberArk
  • Advanced understanding of Directory Services AD LDAP and DNS
  • A degree in business finance or Information Technology preferred.
  • 5 years of experience successfully leading operational technology improvements including access control access management provisioning and/or Privileged Access Management.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal to various levels of an enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of cloud computing services/continuous delivery deployment architecture is desirable (AWS MS Azure)
  • Experience implementing authentication methods SSO OAuth MFA SAML Federation and Certificates
  • Experience performing technical assessments of system and supporting audits of application security and working with auditors (internal & external)
  • Certifications such as CISSP CISA CISM CGEIT CRISC GIAC GSEC or GISP or similar/equivalent certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in security incident response and risk assessment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with additional security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. NIST ISO 27001).
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions (Saviynt preferred)

Hiring Range:

$90400.00 USD - $113000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
