Job Summary
Greetings from Assisted Family Care! At Assisted Family Care our goal is to provide care to the aged ill or disabled in the manner needed for them to maintain the independence of their daily routines in familiar surroundings so they may enjoy an enhanced quality of life. We are a family owned and operated business and have been serving Nashville Tennessee and surrounding areas since 2012.
Assisted Family Care is committed to hiring enthusiastic and caring professionals who thrive on making a difference in the lives of others! We are looking for compassionate and dedicated caregivers to assist our elderly ill and disabled clients in their homes with activities of daily living.
Currently we are looking for PART TIME / FULL TIME caregivers in the following areas:

Responsibilities
- Remindclients to take prescribed medication
- Transfer and ambulation assistance (around the house or outside (doctors appointments walks etc.)
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals
- Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Light housekeeping
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Companionship
- Transportation to and from appts shopping outings
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
- Able to pass Abuse Reistry Criminal background and Motor Vehicle background checks
- Able to pass drug test
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Dementia care a PLUS!
