Job Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team is looking for an individual to join our Portfolio Optimization Solutions practice and play a key role in creating scalable solutions and standard methodologies to support the Latin America and Caribbean region.

The potential candidate will be responsible for designing coordinating and executing the solutions and methodologies in partnership with other consultants based in LAC markets the data science team and Subject Matter Experts. The objective is to enhance VCAs efficiency while delivering impactful solutions by leveraging knowledge gathered from all regions and teams.

The potential solutions and methodologies could include debit adoption personas attrition SMB approach fraud prevention authorization optimization strategies digital market accelerator among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize in collaboration with the markets the solutions and topics for industrialization.
  • Evaluate and enhance processes and methodologies determining the most suitable solution for each opportunity including AI agents RPA dashboards and other scalable enablers.
  • Establish processes and requirements for AI-powered solutions by deeply understanding business needs and translating them into optimized workflows business rules and outputs that improve internal efficiency and strengthen advisory capabilities.
  • Design the scope and storytelling of the scalable solutions and methodologies specifying the required KPIs concepts and views for the Data Science team.
  • Oversee all project-related activities with the Data Science team Subject Matter Experts and AI Engineers. Monitor and report on the projects progress timeline and risks.
  • Support the Data Science and Tech teams by providing business perspectives to ensure the development of relevant segmentations and scores.
  • Utilize Visa data analytical capabilities technology and industry expertise to produce business-related content for each solution (e.g. market context and trends recommendations and best practices templates).
  • Interact with several internal stakeholders from other regions and teams to ensure that the scalable solutions and methodologies incorporate knowledge and best practices from around the globe and are linked to other relevant VCA or Visa products and services.
  • Produce the promotional components of the solution (e.g. sales pitch pricing training deck promotional videos internal communications executive presentations).
  • Prioritize coordinate and execute enhancements identified or requested by the markets in collaboration with the Data Science team or Subject Matter Experts ensuring that the solutions remain relevant.
  • Conduct training sessions and meetings to present the solution to our internal Teams.
  • Identify potential clients and promote the usage of the solutions by delivery and functional practices.
  • Perform client-specific analysis on portfolio data to validate KPIs insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other areas to support Visas broader strategy (e.g.: new product launches affluent portfolio growth cross-border initiatives etc.)
  • Continuously develop and present innovative ideas to improve the solutions.

Incumbents applying for the role should be motivated and analytical team players who can deliver strategic thought leadership problem diagnostics and high-impact solutions to support the growth and performance of our clients. Candidates must be able to develop enduring strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required ideally in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering mathematics science) and/or business administration from top-tier school.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in financial/banking services or management consulting especially in payments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes including products & services business systems and processes marketing initiatives and card management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in payments credit cards or financial services particularly in portfolio optimization digital credit risk and/or fraud risk.
  • Proven experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance.

  • Ability to build long-lasting partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Technology-oriented and curious with up-to-date knowledge of digital trends and applications.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Power BI or similar software.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools required for the role including presentation design and video creation tools.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required along with proficiency in either Spanish or Portuguese.
