Senior Project Manager (Government projects)
Job Summary
- Lead planning execution and delivery of multiple projects within scope time and budget
- Establish and maintain effective delivery supervision across the portfolio
- Build and manage project teams fostering collaboration and growth
- Select and adapt project management methodologies to fit project needs
- Identify assess and mitigate risks proactively
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for stakeholders
- Communicate closely with customers to manage expectations and support business development
- Coordinate resources delegate tasks and monitor progress
- Resolve conflicts and promote a high-performance team culture
- Utilize project management tools to ensure transparency and progress tracking
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in project and/or program management
- Experience with public sector or government projects
- Experience with fixed-price projects
- Strong understanding of project program and portfolio management concepts
- Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum Waterfall and hybrid methodologies
- Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and guide teams
- Strong risk management planning and decision-making skills
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira MS Project Microsoft tools)
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and manage complexity
- Advanced understanding of corporate environments and business objectives
- Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English level
