What youll be doing
Youll join the Internal Audit team supporting the delivery of model risk audits across areas such as market risk and valuation this role youll assess the design effectiveness and governance of financial models ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations. Youll collaborate with senior auditors to review model assumptions methodologies and outputs contributing to audit findings and recommendations. As you grow in the role youll take on greater ownership of smaller audits including identifying issues supporting reporting and presenting insights to stakeholders. This is a strong developmental opportunity for someone with a quantitative background looking to build a career at the intersection of finance risk and audit.

How youll succeed
- Apply quantitative knowledge Assess financial models by evaluating assumptions methodologies and outputs. Support testing activities and evaluate whether models are functioning as intended.
- Execute audit engagements Collaborate with senior team members to deliver audit assignments contributing to planning testing and documentation. Take increasing ownership of smaller audits and support end-to-end execution.
- Evaluate risk and governance Review model governance frameworks controls and processes to identify potential risks or gaps. Ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking Break down complex quantitative concepts and translate them into clear audit observations. Use structured thinking to assess issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Communicate findings effectively Clearly articulate audit results in written reports and presentations. With support present insights to stakeholders including senior management.
- Build expertise and collaborate Work closely with internal stakeholders including model development and validation teams to gather insights validate findings and continuously develop your technical and professional skillset.
Who you are
- You can demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in. a quantitative risk or financial services environment with exposure to model validation risk management or audit practices. You have a strong academic background. Youre comfortable with quantitative concepts. You understand the fundamentals of financial models and are confident working with quantitative concepts even early in your career. Its an asset if you have experience with credit risk modeling and a strong level of awareness around emerging industry issues (e.g. Basel II/III and FRTB).
- You have a degree in. a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics Statistics Financial Engineering or Mathematical Finance. A Masters degree is preferred.
