Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive product vision backlog prioritisation and agile delivery across large-scale IT programs. The role focuses on aligning business objectives with delivery outcomes managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring value-driven product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead identification prioritisation and refinement of user stories aligned to business objectives and product roadmap
- Contribute to strategic planning and define acceptance criteria ensuring quality delivery and sign-off
- Define and maintain product vision aligned with organisational priorities
- Support agile teams by clarifying requirements and managing dependencies
- Own and prioritise the product backlog to maximise value delivery
- Communicate product vision scope and business outcomes to delivery teams
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements define priorities and ensure alignment
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and manage risks with mitigation strategies
- Negotiate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for successful delivery
- Ensure backlog estimation aligns with team capacity for effective planning
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Product Owner in agile environments
- Proven experience working on large-scale IT or digital transformation programs
- Expertise in backlog management user stories and agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to align business needs with technical delivery
- Experience in enterprise or government environments preferred
