Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pool Attendant & Facilities Custodian to maintain a clean safe and welcoming pool environment while supporting general custodial operations throughout the hotel. This role plays an important part in delivering a positive guest experience by ensuring high cleanliness safety and water quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pool Area Duties
- Monitor pool area for cleanliness safety and guest comfort
- Maintain proper towel supply and organize pool seating areas
- Clean and sanitize pool deck furniture and surrounding areas
- Test monitor and balance pool chemicals in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate chemical and maintenance logs
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Enforce pool rules in a professional and courteous manner
Custodial Duties
- Clean and sanitize public areas including restrooms hallways and fitness areas
- Sweep mop vacuum and remove trash throughout assigned spaces
- Replenish supplies such as soap paper products and cleaning materials
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled
- Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required
- Demonstrated pool operations knowledge including water chemistry and safety practices
- Previous custodial hospitality or pool attendant experience preferred
- Willingness to complete required training and follow proper operational procedures
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to stand walk and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
