Job Summary

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy specializing in water infrastructure and environmental solutions. They provide expertise in hydrology hydraulics and flood management delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for complex projects across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of engineering analysis and design for water-related projects
Carry out hydraulic modelling simulations and technical assessments using relevant software
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables meet timelines and objectives
Review and validate engineering drawings calculations and technical reports
Support and mentor junior engineers within the team
Ensure all work complies with applicable regulatory and safety requirements

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (specializing in hydrology/hydraulics preferred)
At least 6-7 years of experience in hydraulic modelling particularly in flood mitigation or drainage master planning projects
Hands-on experience with tools such as DHI MIKE HEC-RAS or CAD is an advantage
Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
