Job summary
As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology you will design deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and AWS cloud solutions. You will leverage automation tools to deliver secure and scalable infrastructure contributing to innovative technology initiatives.

Job responsibilities

Design deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters across on-premises AWS cloud and hybrid environments
Develop test and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm charts
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jules Spinnaker and Jenkins
Set up monitoring logging and alerting for Kubernetes clusters using Grafana Prometheus Dynatrace and Splunk
Configure and troubleshoot networking security policies CNI plugins ingress controllers and service meshes
Develop and maintain SQL solutions using PostgreSQL AWS RDS Aurora Teradata or other RDBMS technologies

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2 years applied experience
applied experience as a DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes AWS and Terraform
Proficient on AWS Cloud Platform with system design application tools interface and modules development testing problem solving and operational stability
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Helm chart
Experience in Terraform Python and Shell scripting technologies
Experience with Kubernetes services deployments failover mechanisms networking security policies including CNI plugins ingress controllers and service meshes
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jules Spinnaker and Jenkins
Strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL AWS RDS Aurora Teradata or other RDBMS technologies

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

Familiarity with Databricks
Exposure to modern front-end technologies
Experience with cloud technologies beyond AWS
Knowledge of advanced Kubernetes networking and service mesh solutions
