SENIOR PRODUCT LEAD APP DIGITAL CHANNELS (OPENBANK)

Mission and responsibilities:
Youll lead product direction across 23 cross-functional squads focused on mobile-first experiences for Individuals. Youll partner closely with Engineering Design/UX Operations Growth Customer Needs and Risk/Legal/Compliance and collaborate cross-geo on international initiatives.
Were scaling a mobile-first banking experience across multiple markets while keeping it simple for customers and safe by design. Your job is to spot the highest-impact opportunities in the app turn them into clear product bets and ship improvements that move customer and business outcomes in a regulated high-complexity environment.
This is a product leadership role (strategy discovery prioritisation outcomes) not operations service delivery or project coordination.
The main tasks of this position will be the following:
- Own the vision roadmap and prioritisation for the mobile app and web experiences.
- Define and own outcome metrics (activation engagement conversion retention self-service cost-to-serve) and drive measurable improvements.
- Lead continuous discovery using product data customer feedback UX research and experimentation.
- Deliver UX-driven product development across complex customer journeys (e.g. onboarding everyday banking self-service security engagement).
- Lead multi-squad execution: align teams around outcomes unblock decisions and keep delivery moving with a bias toward action.
- Influence senior stakeholders with clear narratives grounded in customer evidence and data; raise the bar for product craft and UX quality across squads.
- Lead hire and grow a team: hiring onboarding coaching performance management and career development.
- Explore AI-ready experiences responsibly including LLM-driven journeys and agentic flows.
To be successful in the role you must have:
- 8 years of experience in product management owning mobile-first consumer products end-to-end (fintech or other regulated platforms a plus).
- 3 years of experience managing multiple teams in large complex product-led organizations partnering cross-functionally and cross-geographically.
- Strong product sense and a track record of UX excellence: simplifying complexity and building journeys customers love.
- Zero-to-one and major rebuild experience: taking ambiguous problems from idea shipped product measurable outcomes.
- Data-informed mindset; comfortable with funnels instrumentation experimentation and KPI ownership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; English C1.
- A strong sense of ownership: you lead end-to-end move fast and deliver measurable outcomes in a high-complexity environment.
