Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees visitors packages and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials manifests and/or shipment documentation to help support authorized entry and movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including operational areas and perimeter points while remaining aware of changing conditions and activity levels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
