Come and take charge of a dedicated team and drive performance. OurNight shifttypically runs4in 6- starting between 20:00 and23:00 dependant on volumes.
OurNight Shift Manageris a key role to ensure the smooth running of the Night operation in the Depot; where you will lead teams of Supervisors Night Loaders Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sitesin tosmaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer. TheNightshift Manageris fully accountable for the performance of theshift whilst proactively seeking ways to improve cost service & operational efficiency.
InterestedWe are looking for someone who can
-
Manage all areas of the night warehouse sortation in an efficient cost-effective manner.

Ensuring depot key KPIs are achieved e.g. sortation compliance Vehicle Departure times etc.

Budget Management to achieve the agreed service levels including productivity labour costs overtime usage Agency usage.

To lead coach and develop the supervisors on shift.

To adhere to the legal requirements of the O Licence.
Essential skills and experiencerequired:
-
Transport knowledge skills or experience including regulations
-
Managementexperience of leading and managing a team.

Mustbe able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines

PCLiterate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office

Experienced of working in fast-pacedlogistics

Goodcommunicator and able to liaise at all levels
