Job Summary
Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small engineering team at a busy industrial site in Grantham. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activity delivering planned maintenance programmes and ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Monday to Thursday 37 hours
6am 3.45pm with good overtime available
Salary 42500 - 45000
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day to day maintenance activities across the site
- Lead a team of up to 5 maintenance personnel
- Ensure PPM schedules are in place up to date and completed on time
- Oversee maintenance work to ensure tasks are completed safely and to a high standard
- Manage remedial actions following statutory inspections and maintenance checks
- Work closely with production teams to ensure effective engineering support
- Maintain high standards of health safety and compliance
- Identify training needs and support the development of the engineering team
- Drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations
About You
- Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds BTEC or equivalent
- IOSH Managing Safely desirable
- Previous maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience leading or supervising engineering teams
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive approach
