Job Summary:
The Registrar is a member of the Counseling Department and supports the daily operation of the Academy by maintaining student records coordinating reporting processes assisting the counseling office and facilitating enrollment and graduation-related activities.
This role works collaboratively with faculty staff students families and sending districts to ensure accurate recordkeeping compliance with reporting requirements and effective communication across the school community.
The successful candidate will:
- Promote 21st century educational excellence through the vigorous support of the mission and goals of The Woodstock Academy;
- Facilitate individual departmental and school excellence through the support of high-quality personnel reinforcement of best instructional practices encouragement of a culture of collaboration and a focus on student learning;
- Maintain and manage student records including enrollments withdrawals transcripts and cumulative files;
- Support counseling office operations including scheduling reporting and college application processing;
- Coordinate report cards awards tracking graduation materials and commencement documentation;
- Assist with state and federal reporting requirements and communication with sending districts;
- Support student enrollment processes and collaborate with the Counseling and Admissions Departments on incoming student data;
- Coordinate testing logistics and related documentation as needed;
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of student information management.
Minimum qualifications:
- Associates degree in administration or a related field or equivalent experience;
- Experience with student information systems records management or educational office support preferred;
- Strong organizational communication and technology skills (including Microsoft Office and administrative software);
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within established guidelines;
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders;
- Positive attitude integrity collaboration skills a cooperative attitude and a sense of humor essential.
Knowledge of:
- Student information systems and records management practices;
- State and federal reporting requirements related to student data;
- Office coordination in a school counseling or enrollment environment;
- Preparation of transcripts report cards graduation documentation and testing materials;
- Communication and coordination with families faculty and sending districts.
