Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager role will play a critical role supporting GSS(Global Service Security) segment focusing on cross docking and server customization & testing operations .
This role is responsible for designing implementing and optimizing processes within a high-volume fast-paced and growing distribution environment ensuring operational stability scalability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation and stabilization of warehouse and fulfillment processes in a complex and high-demand environment.
- Develop and deploy standardized processes to improve efficiency accuracy and throughput.
- Act as a process owner for end-to-end warehouse operations including fulfillment x-dock and value-added services (customization and testing).
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on operational issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Apply Lean methodologies (Kaizen waste reduction standard work visual management) to improve performance.
- Support ramp-up activities and operational scaling ensuring processes are robust and sustainable.
- Develop and deliver training programs to operations teams to ensure process adherence and capability building.
- Monitor and improve key KPIs such as productivity quality cycle time and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations quality program management and IT to implement process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for automation layout optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
- Create and maintain process documentation work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support new product/process introductions (NPI/NPI transfers) into the warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial Production Mechanical or related field).
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution center or fulfillment operations.
- Strong experience with process implementation and operational stabilization.
- Hands-on experience with Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in high-growth or high-volume environments is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in RCA and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to train and influence operational teams.
- Experience with systems (WMS ERP etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with server operations electronics or technical fulfillment environments.
- Knowledge of automation material handling systems or layout optimization.
- Experience supporting ramp-ups or new site/process implementations.
