Description

Reporting to the Assistant Manager Casino Shift the Table Games Dealer Trainee is hired to learn the table games business starting with Blackjack and be able to pass the certification to promote to a Table Games dealer position.

$20.00 PER HOUR



Responsibilities

Delivers great customer service by learning core games offered by the property in a friendly and helpful manner with an upbeat/positive attitude.

Learn how to demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures
Learn how to deal games in accordance with internal controls and the New Jersey Division of Gaming regulations and company policy.
Able to learn applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics.
Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
Responsible for learning the protection and control of the game.
Learn how to exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
Support and always maintain property courtesy guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Presents oneself in a polished professional and service-minded way and encourages others to do the same.



Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills are essential
Must be able to perform basic math quickly
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
Must present a well-groomed appearance
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public
Must be able to pass a math test and customer service focused panel before being accepted to this training program.
Must be able to work varied shifts during a 24-hour period weekends and holidays are required as needed after completion of program.
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts or stressful customer interactions.

Must be able to work independently
Must be able to sit stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours)
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts
Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and can push pull reach bend twist stoop and kneel
Respond to visual and aural cues
Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust loud noises and bright lights
Must be able to work varied shifts weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives
Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively


High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
