Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicatedQMAP to join our compassionate team at our Residential Care Senior Living Facility in Durango Colorado. As a QMAP you will play a crucial role in assisting our senior residents with medication management while ensuring their safety and comfort. What Youll Do:
- Administer medications to residents accurately and timely following care plans and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Keep detailed up-to-date medication records as per facility policies.
- Maintain medication storage areas in compliance with regulations.
- Assist residents with daily living activities when necessary.
- Observe and report changes in residents health or well-being.
- Maintain open and effective communication with families to keep them informed of their loved ones care changes in condition and medication updates.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible care for each resident.
- Stay current with training and development in medication administration.
What Were Looking For:
- Colorado Certification Medication Aide
- Previous experience in a senior care or long-term care setting
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially with families and the care team.
- Compassionate patient and reliable.
- Ability to lift and assist residents (up to 50 pounds).
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
