About the job

Based in Oeiras Portugal you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATOs Digital Endeavour. You will be responsible for The LOGFAS (Logistics Functional Area Services) Senior Instructor is responsible for leading the LOGFAS Section managing teams resources and overseeing the execution of the programme of work within their area of expertise and responsibility.

As Section Head will provide expertise to support organizational planning and operations lead and develop teams by setting objectives monitoring performance fostering capability growth and facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement within teams.

Additionally they are responsible for coordinating with other Sections and Branch Heads as necessary to contribute to the broader objectives projects and initiatives of the Business Area ensuring alignment with the overall Agency Strategic Plan.

The role also includes delivering role-specific (operational or managerial) and/or technical training/learning solutions to adult learners aimed at enhancing their job performance in alignment with NATO policies guidance and standards. The LOGFAS Senior Instructor will develop adapt and maintain LOGFAS specific courses and learning solutions while continually improving their subject matter expertise

Were looking for a talented and knowledgeable Senior Instructor professional with ideally a Bachelors degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience.

A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

Proven experience managing teams resources projects and service delivery.
Recent (at least 5 years) operational experience in a field related military logistic preferably in a NATO Multi-national or Coalition environment:
Experience (at least 5 years) with providing training on highly technical subjects to both non-technical personnel as well as technical specialists.
Experience developing or contributing to the design of courses course materials and assessments.

Knowledge of English both written and spoken is essential and some knowledge of French is desirable.
