Job Summary
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care for clients in Loudon Tennessee. As a caregiver you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily activities and offering companionship in a supportive and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing dressing and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transferring as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and family members
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to and from job location in Loudon TN
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Compassionate patient and trustworthy personality
- Good communication skills
