Overview
The Forensic Interviewer is responsible for conducting neutral fact-finding and legally defensible interviews using the ChildFirst protocol with children who are suspected victims and/or witnesses of maltreatment at all CAMCAC locations. He/She works directly with members of the multidisciplinary team and will regularly participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings. The Forensic Interviewer provides testimony in a variety of court Forensic Interviewer regularly
Participates in peer review case review and maintains up-to-date client records.

Position Details:

- Education- Bachelor s Degree in Social Work or related field- Experience- Experience with and knowledge of the field of child maltreatment is preferred including working with multi-disciplinary team- ChildFirst Certification preferred but not mandatory- Must be willing to attend ChildFirst TrainingKnowledge Skills and Attributes- Ability to work well with all team members and co-workers and maintain right relationships- Ability to cope with stressful situations- Knowledge of child development- Must have stellar communication skills- Must always possess high integrity and maintain confidentiality - Basicknowledge of office equipmentand Microsoft Office- Ability to read write and speak English- Must have ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the needs of children as they ariseSpecial Requirements- Must be available for on-call rotation which includes 24hour availability as scheduled- Must have a drivers license and personal vehicle
