Job Summary
McLaren Central is looking for Board certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Physician that can cover every other week.
Job Details:
Type of coverage: Hospital Call Only
Coverage needs: May 1 - August 23.2026
Patient per day: 15-18
The MCM Hospitalist Program is comprised of four physicians (2 daytime 2 nocturnists) that provide coverage in 12-hour shifts seven days on/seven days off
EHR in use: Cerner
Procedure Required: Internal Medicine
- Adult Inpatient w/ ICU/CCU
Reverse Invoicing - Provider will use DocTime to clock in/out. No paper timesheets will be used.
Do NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees
No lodging booked through 3rd party websites ie expedia kayak etc
McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging
Orientation should be 1/2 the hourly rate
Requirement description : ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
- Board Certified in IM or FP - REQUIRED
- Active MI license at name clear - REQUIRED
- Must be local to Michigan - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Copy of the NPDB self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
