Duration: Long Term Contract
Location: Remote / Washington DC (Remote Flexibility Available)
Clearance: Ability to obtain MBI (Tier 2) clearance required
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer Pipeline to support the development maintenance and enhancement of secure and scalable CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications. This role will be responsible for driving automation improving deployment processes and ensuring the integration of security best practices across the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers architects and security engineers to deliver high-quality secure and efficient solutions in a cloud-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across cloud platforms such as AWS Salesforce and MuleSoft
- Automate build deployment testing and release processes to ensure efficient and reliable delivery
- Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines ensuring compliance with DevSecOps standards
- Manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform Ansible Kubernetes and Jenkins
- Implement and enforce quality gates automated testing (unit regression performance) and deployment verification
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues optimize pipelines and improve system performance
- Support application configuration enhancements and continuous improvements in pipeline automation
- Monitor pipeline performance and ensure high availability and reliability of deployment processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in DevSecOps or CI/CD pipeline engineering
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2 EKS ECS) Kubernetes and Linux (RHEL)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform Ansible and Jenkins
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of automation deployment strategies and pipeline optimization
- Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Salesforce (Copado) and MuleSoft environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Federal or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) projects
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and microservices environments
- Understanding of DevSecOps best practices and compliance standards
