Job Summary

needs two Java tech leads with very strong AWS

Experience in brokerage or financial services application development is a plus
Are a creator a doer and a disruptor who will help us tackle real-life problems and meet real customer needs
Self-starter who actively challenges status-quo is curious and not afraid to ask Why and What if
Are experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks
Uses CI/CD practices tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests blue-green deployments and feature toggles
Stay on top of Algorithms Data Structures and Design Patterns and love the challenge of building highly scalable systems that can support thousands of transactions/sec
Have a mindset of test first development and are experienced in modern test frameworks
Are data-driven and can measure collect and use data to make decisions
Have strong communication skills and technical expertise in driving and participating in discussions

The Skills You Bring

Batchelors degree in computer science or related field required
10 years strong proficiency in Java Spring Framework Kafka development environment; Use (CI/CD) Jenkins pipeline
Experience leading a team
Proficient in designing micro services by applying software design patterns twelve-factor app methodology and SOLID principles
Experience container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as Kafka SNS and SQS
Experience with Brokerage systems especially Trade processing and Settlements.
Proficient in databases and SQL
Unit and integration test automation using Jest Cucumber Junit and Mockito
Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments
Possess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions
Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews environment strategy and build and deployment pipelines
Strong organization skills and attention to details
