Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: Burleson TX
Shift: Day Shift (Full-Time Hours)
Duration: 13 Weeks (or as applicable)
Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed (up to 40 hours/week)
Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on supporting physical therapists in delivering rehabilitation services to patients with orthopedic and post-operative conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising therapist
- Educate patients on exercises recovery plans and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
- Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
- Support clinic operations and patient flow
Patient Population:
- Orthopedic conditions
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Occasional pelvic health cases
Productivity Expectations:
- Approximately 60 patient visits per week
- Average 1214 patients per day
- Double-booking of follow-up visits may be required
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active PTA license (state-specific as applicable)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Experience with orthopedic and post-operative cases
