Job Title: e-Library Specialist
Location: Qatar
Job Purpose
The e-Library Specialist is responsible for planning developing and managing a comprehensive digital library and e-learning ecosystem to support the learning and development needs of healthcare professionals. The role ensures effective delivery accessibility and continuous improvement of e-Library services for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan develop and implement a structured e-Library portfolio aligned with organizational learning objectives.
- Research create and organize digital content to support healthcare education and professional development.
- Manage and maintain e-Library platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Oversee day-to-day e-Library operations including user registration access management and query resolution.
- Coordinate and support the technical infrastructure required for digital learning delivery.
- Develop and execute communication strategies to promote e-Library usage and online learning initiatives.
- Design and deliver training sessions workshops and tutorials for staff.
- Monitor and evaluate e-Library usage analyze data and generate regular performance reports.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive data through effective knowledge management practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance learning resources and user experience.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in:
- Developing web-based learning content
- Managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Working with e-Library or digital learning platforms
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in e-Library systems and LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle Blackboard).
- Proficiency in multimedia tools and digital content development.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to evaluate learning effectiveness and usage data.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Language Requirement
- Bilingual (Arabic & English) – Preferred
Working Conditions
- 40 hours per week (shift-based including weekends if required)
- Based at assigned healthcare facilities in Qatar
