Job Summary

Job Title: e-Library Specialist

Location: Qatar

Job Purpose

The e-Library Specialist is responsible for planning developing and managing a comprehensive digital library and e-learning ecosystem to support the learning and development needs of healthcare professionals. The role ensures effective delivery accessibility and continuous improvement of e-Library services for both clinical and non-clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan develop and implement a structured e-Library portfolio aligned with organizational learning objectives.
  • Research create and organize digital content to support healthcare education and professional development.
  • Manage and maintain e-Library platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Oversee day-to-day e-Library operations including user registration access management and query resolution.
  • Coordinate and support the technical infrastructure required for digital learning delivery.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to promote e-Library usage and online learning initiatives.
  • Design and deliver training sessions workshops and tutorials for staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate e-Library usage analyze data and generate regular performance reports.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive data through effective knowledge management practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance learning resources and user experience.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
    • Developing web-based learning content
    • Managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)
    • Working with e-Library or digital learning platforms

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in e-Library systems and LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle Blackboard).
  • Proficiency in multimedia tools and digital content development.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate learning effectiveness and usage data.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Language Requirement

  • Bilingual (Arabic & English) – Preferred

Working Conditions

  • 40 hours per week (shift-based including weekends if required)
  • Based at assigned healthcare facilities in Qatar
