Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Schedule: Day Shift 5x8
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in an outpatient clinical setting. This role involves assisting physical therapists with treatment plans patient education and rehabilitation services for a variety of conditions including orthopedic and post-operative cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering care to orthopedic post-operative and limited pelvic health patients
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns
- Educate patients on exercises mobility techniques and recovery plans
- Manage a daily caseload of 1214 patients including double-booked follow-ups
- Complete timely and accurate documentation for all patient visits
- Maintain productivity standards of approximately 60 visits per week
- Collaborate with clinical staff and assist with coverage at nearby locations when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety ethical and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas
- CPR/BLS certification required
Education
- Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
