Job Summary
The Assistant Volleyball Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including coaching recruiting player development scouting and operations. This role helps ensure team success by fostering student-athlete growth coordinating program logistics and maintaining compliance with NCAA conference and university policies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing training sessions practices and game strategies to enhance individual and team performance. Identify evaluate and recruit prospective student-athletes who align with the programs competitive and academic standards. Support student-athletes in their academic athletic and personal development ensuring compliance with NCAA and university requirements. Analyze game film and scouting reports to prepare strategic recommendations for upcoming competitions. Assist in coordinating team travel equipment management and other program operations. Lead or assist in organizing camps and clinics. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree with two (2) years of experience coaching volleyball; or combination of NCAA Division I Womens Volleyball playing and/or coaching experience; or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
Four (4 ) years of experience coaching volleyball at the collegiate level.
Work Schedule
Non-traditional hours/weekends required. Work schedule varies and includes evenings and weekends.
