Job Duties:
The Division of Services is committed to providing highquality individualized rehabilitation services educational consultation technical assistance and instruction that empower eligible individuals to achieve their desired levels of independence consistent with their abilities and informed choices.
We are seeking a Circulation/Publication Clerk to support and enhance the librarys circulation inventory through the use of an inventory database that employs barcodes to accurately identify materials by medium copy and title. This system helps maintain literature catalogs and information for both new and existing patrons as provided by the National Library Services. The position also includes receiving and shelving Braille materials updating the KLAS system and assisting in the maintenance of educational service materials.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Circulation inventory.
- Preparing and maintaining inventories and reports.
- Managing mail and deliveries.
- Assisting in shelving and organizing materials for storage at the LRC with a required accuracy rate of 95% and completion within 48 hours of the request from the Circulation Manager or Assistant Director of the Library and Resource Center.
Performs additional duties and/or special projects as assigned
Completes tasks and projects as needed or directed by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience:
Experience in a fast-paced environment
Experience with inventory control
Experience using computer databases
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work with automated databases
Problem-solving with routine issues
Ability to work in a labor-intense warehouse environment
Effective communication skills
Capacity to work with shipping and receiving materials
