Facilitates play-based activities and programs to promote child development and well-being.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Performs assessments to identify needs of individual children. Designs and implements appropriate interventions.
  • Communicates and collaborates with team members regarding patient and family experiences. Documents all patient interactions and maintains data related to activity participation.
  • Maintains program resources and facilities to sustain safe clean and accessible learning and play environment.
  • Provides training and supervision for volunteers to ensure safety and appropriate interaction.
  • Assists with the planning and implementation of departmental events and programs.

Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree in Child Development Education Psychology or related field or equivalent experience required.

  • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
  • Planning and organizational skills including implementing interventions and programming for children of all ages.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills.
