Job Summary
Head of Factory
Location: Cikarang Indonesia
About the Role
The Head of Factory is responsible for overseeing the full endtoend operations of the manufacturing operations in Cikarang. This role ensures that production quality safety maintenance and supply operations are executed to deliver reliable output cost efficiency and high product standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall factory operations including production engineering quality safety and logistics.
- Ensure all products meet quality food safety and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity reduce waste and optimize costs.
- Ensure robust plant maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Manage factory budgets operational KPIs and resource planning.
- Build and develop a strong factory leadership team and skilled workforce.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety hygiene and GMP standards across the site.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Quality R&D Procurement and Commercial teams to meet production and delivery commitments.
- Lead factory audits certification processes and regulatory inspections.
- Support capacity expansion projects technology upgrades and factory modernization.
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree in engineering Food Technology Manufacturing or related field.
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations preferably in food/FMCG/ edible oil production.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large operational teams.
- Proven track record in factory management productivity improvement and cost control.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing TPM or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
