Business Unit Director for Cardiovascular Renal & Metabolic Disease (CVRM)

Find more about our team: are now looking for a passionate and ambitious leader for the role of Business Unit Director CVRM in this role you will be at the forefront of our efforts to bring life-changing treatments to those who need them most. You will lead the marketing & commercial teams in developing and executing therapeutic area strategies collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving growth in a highly competitive market.
What Youll Do:
- Set the CVRM ambition and direction: Define a clear vision aligned with AZs mission; translate it into priorities plans and measurable goals.
- Lead portfolio and brand strategy: Shape portfolio choices brand positioning and launch plans based on customer insights and market needs.
- Performance and investment decisions: Manage targets budgets and ROI with a P&L mindset; make tradeoffs and use contingency plans when needed.
- Build a strong highperforming team: Grow leadership capability and an inclusive accountable culture; upskill teams in omnichannel engagement data and technology use including AI tools.
- Shape access and stakeholder engagement: Develop trusted relationships with key HCPs and other relevant external stakeholders; tailor value propositions to expand access.
- Use data to guide decisions: Turn market and customer insights into clear actions; apply testandlearn to improve impact and efficiency.
- Strengthen field force and omnichannel: Align targeting incentives and channel mix to strategy; integrate digital inperson and remote engagement.
- Organizational fit: work cross-functionally to build alignment behind shared priorities; simplify ways of working.
- Uphold ethics compliance and safety: Model AZ values and ensure rigorous adherence to policies regulations and reporting.
