As a Security Officer TWIC Access Associate in Portsmouth VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials screen visitors and document authorized access in support of restricted area protocols.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points surrounding grounds and perimeter areas to help identify potential issues and/or policy violations.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities visitor interactions and/or security-related incidents while following post orders and site instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
