SalaryGrade: 66000 per annum depending on experience
Location:Shrewsbury

Job Summary
Oversees the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems.
WhatYouWillDo:
Developing quality assurance strategies processes guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products.
Recruiting developing and leading staff to accomplish personal and organizational goals adhere to policies/procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Communicating adherence to client requirements product or service specifications and ensures that their expectations are met to achieve high customer satisfaction rates.
Managing process to achieve compliance for internal quality audits and coordinate external on-site audits; analyzing all product development and manufacturing procedures to identify deviations from quality standards and recommend and implement corrective actions.
Driving change based on data; reviewing reports to review with quality assurance production management and engineering personnel to solve quality issues.

Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
Level Extensive Knowledge:
Manages the adoption of lean manufacturing principles across the organization.
Teaches others about how lean approach integrates operations customers logistics and product development.
Consults on work cell design and plan layout in support of lean principles.
Consults on the use of lean approaches across multiple functions.
Trains others on key lean measurements and tools and techniques for measuring performance.
Participates in detailed planning for implementing and monitoring lean manufacturing.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge:
Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.
Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.
Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.
Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.
Quality Management System (QMS): Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) functions features and capabilities; ability to design implement test and maintain Quality Management Systems to consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory compliances.
Level Working Knowledge:
Adheres to the process requirements and documentation associated with QMS.
Contributes to the development of business case analysis for a new QMS functionality in the system.
Explains and analyzes quality indicators and metrics relevant to ones business unit or function.
Monitors key interfaces and criticalities related to QMS.
Reviews various QMS products and service providers available in the market and lists their applications.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.
Level Working Knowledge:
Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.
Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.
Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction.
Differentiates the roles and responsibilities in a business relationship.
Works with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.
