Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced licensed electrician to partner with us as an independent contractor to support ongoing and upcoming residential construction and renovation projects. This opportunity is ideal for a self-employed professional who operates their own business and is looking to supplement their project pipeline with consistent opportunities.
Scope of Work
The independent contractor will provide electrical services which may include:
- Installation of electrical systems wiring panels and fixtures
- Rough-in and finish electrical work
- Troubleshooting and electrical repairs
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Coordinating with project teams and other trades
- Ensuring work meets applicable codes and safety standards
Contractor Requirements
- Active electrical license (as required by state/local regulations)
- Operates an independent business entity or sole proprietorship
- Own tools equipment and transportation
- General liability insurance (COI required)
- Ability to manage schedule and workload independently
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable communication and professionalism
Compensation
